Connely is an Associate in the Atlanta office of Herman Jones LLP.  Her practice focuses on mergers, acquisitions, securities matters, strategic alliances and other business transactions. Her practice also includes an array of general corporate matters, including corporate governance issues and advising private entities on their daily legal matters.

Connely earned her undergraduate degree in English Literature, with honors, from Auburn University with minors in both Studio Art and Accountancy.  She received her J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law. During law school, she took interest in business law and intellectual property law, joining the Journal of Intellectual Property and the Negotiations team.

Connely was published in the University of Georgia School of Law Journal of Intellectual Property Law with her note entitled, Destruction, The Rebirth of Art: Analyzing the Right of Integrity’s Role in Modern Art, 29 J. Intell. Prop. L 129 (2021).  She was also an integral part of the Negotiations Team for the School of Law where she competed in the 2021 Duke Transactional Law Competition and the 2022 Tulane Professional Football Negotiation Competition.
